MUSIC AS LITERATURE

I think that we can describe music as literature because muse is words that are a kind of poetry which is a form of literature. The difference between a novel, a poem, a rap, a song, an opera, and a symphony is that they all mean a different. A novel is a fictitious prose narrative of book length. A poem is a piece of writing that is like a  speech and song that is nearly always rhythmical. A rap is a form of speech that has a rhyme to it. A song is a short poem or another set of words set to music or meant to be sung. An opera is a music that people sing too. And a symphony is an elaborate musical composition for full orchestra, typically in four movements.
