EVERYTHING IS A REMIX

Part 1 of notes

Part Two Notes: Remix: To combine or edit existing materials to produce something new.
Many of the scenes from Star Wars are just remix's of older western movies like The Seachers (1956).
Loss Aversion is when you take things from other people or copy.
The lone creator:
Ideas are property: Ideas can't be property. You can't take ideas from people.
Ideas contain ideas
The Mac copied the ideas from Lesa. This made the apple company rise up.
"By Idolizing those whom we honor we do a disservice both to them and to ourselves... we fail to recognize that we could go and do likewise." By Charles V. Willie
Someone asked him who is he remixing and he answered that he is remixing authors but in a film point of view.
He knew that basic of the remix of star wars and he only looks for the easy steps so that it would not be so hard for him to find the remix of other movies like The Matrix.
He only looks for movies that will work for him.
When your copying it's like you are in the world of education.
He has thought to interview George Lucas because it would be fun for him.
